LEROY — Homecoming festivities have begun for North Vermilion High School and will conclude on Saturday, October 25. This year’s theme revolves around music. Patriots are “Tuning in to 201.4 PATS.”

Trying to do something alone can accomplish only so much, but joining with others can create endless possibilities. That idea has led to the much-needed repair of some streets in Abbeville.

Abbeville School Board Member Charles Campbell learned this past week that his opponent Lamondon Williams withdrew his name from the District F School Board race. With Lamondon’s withdrawal, Campbell is declared the winner.
