MAURICE — The Village of Maurice said goodbye Wednesday to two men who have served the board of aldermen for a combined 24 years.

(GONZALES, LA) — A joint law enforcement effort has led to the arrest of a Gonzales man on 31 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles, announced Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.

White truck found burning in sugar cane field north of Abbeville

The entire truck burned within minutes. It is not known if the truck was set on fire or if it is an accident.
