Faith House is a nonprofit organization that helps victims of domestic violence and their children. Domestic Violence affects women of all education, social, and economic levels, all ages, all religions and all ethnic groups. It is the single most frequent cause of injury to women in this country.
Get your calender out parents and children because Halloween in Vermilion Parish is getting confusing. The rest of the United States will be celebrating Halloween on Oct. 31, which is a Friday. But in Vermilion Parish, you will have two days to celebrate Halloween.
Vermilion Parish has five schools that had a school performance grade of A. Three of the five schools were elementary schools, and the other two were high schools. Two A schools improved from being a B school last year. Cecil Picard Elementary had one of the biggest leap in scores from last year.
