Erath's Dozier Elementary moves forward with purchasing iPads

Each year, Dozier Elementary’s technology committee applies for grants locally and nationally. This past fall, Dozier submitted a proposal for technology resources to be used by the students to the Erath 4th of July Association. Recently, Erath 4th of July Association President Robert B. Vincent and board members were on hand to present the grant money awarded for the submitted proposal. In the past five years, the group has donated a total of $10,700 toward Dozier Elementary’s “Eye on Tech” campaign. Burned bodies located by North Vermilion High said to be male and female

A week later the grass is still burnt where the SUV was located on fire on Claude Road. The fire occurred about 50 yards from a house.

The Vermilion Parish Sheriff ‘s Department is slowly trying to piece together what occurred last week on Claude Road, a mile south of North Vermilion High School.
