The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Sandra Frederick, of Kaplan. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Smith, of Kaplan, as well as A.J. and the late Shirley Frederick, of Kaplan.
The groom is the son of Jerome and Gretchen Meaux, of Meaux. He is the grandson of Dunice and Janelle Meaux, as well as Julia Campbell and the late Milton John Campbell, all of Meaux.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory sculpted strapless English net gown with lace appliques and a ruffled trumpet skirt. She was adorned with a finger-tip-length ivory veil and carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas and white roses.
The mother of the bride wore a charcoal taffeta, one-shoulder floor-length dress with a ruched bodice and a rhinestone brooch attached at her shoulder.
The mother of the groom wore a Copenhagen-blue Dupioni silk, double-breasted sleeveless top with a V-neck ruched collar and a sheath-silhouette floor-length skirt. Her ensemble was accented with rhinstone buttons.
Lacie Frederick, sister of the bride, served as Maid of Honor. Shaina Duhon, Ashley Meaux and Tisha Demette, all friends of the bride, Shannon Coker and Ashlyn Meaux, sisters of the groom, served as Bridesmaids. Attendants wore marine satin strapless floor-length dresses with sweetheart necklines and wide ruched waist bands.
Lou Hebert, friend of the groom, served as Best Man. Blake Meaux, Ryan Meaux, Brett Meaux and Brock Broussard, all cousins of the groom, and Kale Frederick, brother of the bride, served as Groomsmen.
Marley Meaux, cousin of the groom, acted as Flowergirl while Gavin Coker, godchild of the groom, served as Ring Bearer.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Lenwood Meaux.
Readings were given by Lynn Smith, godmother of the bride, and Karen Meaux, godmother of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Saint Theresa Holy Family Center.
The couple will enjoy a Caribbean Cruise for their honeymoon and when they return will reside in Meaux, Louisiana.
