Nathalie Boffy and Eric Jukes were united in marriage on Saturday, July 21, 2012, during a 6 p.m. ceremony. The couple exchanged vows on the beach of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The bride is the daughter of Denis and Rebecca Boffy, of Abbeville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Estelle Pierce, of Baton Rouge.

The groom is the son of Carlisle and Marion Jukes, of Houma. He is the grandson of Mrs. Barbara Jukes, of Picayune, Mississippi.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory Casablanca gown with beaded lace appliques of crystals, pearls, beads and sequins over the satin gown. In lieu of a veil she wore a cluster of three fresh orchids in her hair. She carried a bouquet of colorful fresh flowers accented with stargazer lilies.

The mother of the bride wore an ivory beaded tea-length dress with a three-quarter-length jacket embellished with beading.

The mother of the groom wore a fuchsia sleeveless tiered short dress.

Amanda Boffy, sister of the bride, served as Maid of Honor. She wore a short strapless dress of fuchsia-colored satin which featured a sweetheart top and empire waist. The ensemble was finished with a bouquet reflective of the bride’s.

Wilbert Touchet, friend of the groom, served as Best Man for the ceremony.

Pierce Boffy, nephew of the bride, served as Ring Bearer and carried a treasure-chest in the procession containing the couple’s wedding bands.

Friends and family celebrated the nuptials with the new Mr. and Mrs. Jukes at the Ellendale Country Club in Houma, Louisiana on September 1, 2012.

The couple resides in Houma, Louisiana and have plans to celebrate their marriage with a honeymoon in the Napa Valley.
