LeBlanc, Young united in marriage

L’Eglise hosted the wedding to unite Sheri Lynn LeBlanc and Beau Garret Young in marriage on Saturday, June 13, 2009, during a 7:00 p.m. ceremony officiated by Kenneth Picard.

Sheri is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky LeBlanc of Maurice.

Beau is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Young, Jr., of Abbeville.

Escorted by her father, Ricky LeBlanc, the bride wore a taffeta ball gown with beaded side-draped bodice with a sweetheart neckline and a chapel length train. Her veil was created with two tiers that had a scalloped pencil edge containing pears and crystals. The bride’s bouquet was a colorful arrangement of Gerber daisies and roses tied together with a white ribbon and accents on the stem.

Serving in the wedding as Bridesmaids were friends of the bride: Brittany Dugan, Katy Foreman, Jill Trahan, Jennifer Folse and Jenee COmeaux. The gowns worn by the bridesmaids were a strapless, flat taffeta short dress with a bubble hem and a sash at the waist in the color of juniper. The bridesmaids bouquets were a colorful arrangement of Gerber daisies and roses that were also bundles with a silver accent robbon on the stems.

Children serving in the wedding included Jordan Frederick as the Flower girl; Joseph Young and Tyson LeBlanc as the Ring Bearers; Madison White as the Junior bride and Brant Young as the Junior Groom.

Groomsmen serving in the wedding included Clay Young, brother of the groom; Andre Young, brother of the groom; Josh Dugan, friend of the groom; Casey Thibodeaux, friend of the groom; and J. J. Davenport, friend of the groom.

Following the ceremony, reception was also held at L’Eglise. After a wedding trip to Gulf Shores, AL, the couple plans to reside in Maurice.
