LAFAYETTE - Businessman Kevin Moody has been named the winner of the 2014 Civic Cup award. The Civic Cup award was started in 1933 by the Lafayette Young Men’s Business Club. For the past 81 years, the award has been given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the community.

Faith House is a nonprofit organization that helps victims of domestic violence and their children. Domestic Violence affects women of all education, social, and economic levels, all ages, all religions and all ethnic groups. It is the single most frequent cause of injury to women in this country.
