A daughter, Daliyah Marshae’ Plowder, was born Saturday, August 4, 208, at Abbeville General to Kristina Alexis Duhon and Terry Glenn Plowden, Jr. of Abbeville.

Avia Marie Wood
A daughter, Avia Marie Wood, was born Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Abbeville General to Susan Elizabeth Stelly and Whitney Joseph Wood of Abbeville.

On July 12, 2018, Mr.a nd Mrs. Wesley Campbell of Abbeville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends.
Wesley Campbell married Martha Choate on July 12, 1958, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pecan Island.
The couple has four children, three grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Jude Roger recently completed his Eagle Scout project.
The project consisted of construction and installation of an exterior Stations of the Cross at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.
For his project, Jude cleaned the area and removed overgrown vegetation. He constructed the boxes out of cypress with the help of his dad and brother. He then installed the boxes on existing brick pillars in the courtyard between the church and ministries building.
