Flaudrey "Flo" Hardy Lormand

ABBEVILLE — A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2023 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Flaudrey "Flo" Hardy Lormand, 88, who passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at The Blake of Lafayette. She will be laid to rest at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery & Mausoleum with Reverend Nicholas DuPre' officiating the services. Those serving as pallbearers will be Richard Hollier, III, Richard Martin Hollier, IV, Edmond X. Bergeron, Glenn Broussard, Zachary Broussard, and Kolby Broussard. Honorary pallbearer will be Joel Boudreaux.
She is survived by her two sisters, Audrey H. Bergeron, and Glenda H. Jagneaux (Johnny); two brothers, Rixby Hardy (Carolyn), and Rixie Hardy (Celina); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Medwick "M.G." Lormand; parents, Essay Joseph Hardy and the former Effie Vincent; sisters, Winnie H. Marceaux and Suzanne Hebert; and brothers, Joseph E. Hardy and Bradley Hardy.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church 300 Pere Megret St. Abbeville, LA 70510 on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 1:30 p.m. until time of services. A rosary being prayed at 2:00 PM.
