John Alleman

ABBEVILLE — The family of Mr. John Alleman, 78, of Abbeville announces his passing on December 17, 2023. The family has chosen the wishes of cremation. A memorial mass will be held for him at a later date.
John was born March 14, 1945, in Abbeville, La. John was a carpenter, painter, and meat cutter for many years. He was a volunteer at Saint Theresa Catholic Church in Abbeville making flower arrangements, decorating the Church, and many other things. John was a very creative person who put much time and love in crafting. He was a Cajun French speaking person who always promoted the language and the culture. He enjoyed discussing the history of Abbeville - his hometown, and the history around the world. He was always willing to help anyone and was very proud of his family. John will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
