PASTA HOT ! HOT! HOT! NO OVEN REQUIRED

I told you how my dad did not like oven-baked casseroles, so here are several pasta dishes that never have to go in oven at all. My dad did not much like pasta either, but my children love it. I guess I am thinking of my dad so close to Father’s Day, but this would not be on his favored menu. I miss him.

One Bowl Casserole

I never much thought about casseroles until my children got old enough to eat on their own or ask for a casserole recipe they had enjoyed when visiting friends. We did not have casseroles when I was growing up. We didn’t use the oven except for cornbread and the occasional cake. My dad did not like ground meat, and he thought that ovens were invented by a cave woman who did not like standing over an open flame.
