Henry Paul Songe

Henry Paul Songe, 85, a native of Houma, Louisiana and resident of Erath Louisiana, passed away on June 29, 2021.
A visitation was held in his honor on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue, from 9:00am until the Religious Service at 12:00pm. The burial followed in Rogers Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Doris Songe (the patient one in the marriage); daughter, Roslyn Savoie; sisters, Rita Mae Lapeyrouse and Maudeline Peltier; grandchildren, Jude Savoie and wife Abby, Ross DeRoche and wife Kristi, Tayla Gianelloni and wife Jeanne, Katelynn Songe and companion Mac Rogers; great-grandchildren, Celeste, Graham, and Scarlet Grace; and daughter-in-law, Alison Songe.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Roger Jude Songe and Ronald "Digger" Paul Songe; parents, John and Olydia Songe; brothers, Warren Joseph Songe and Allen John Songe; sister, Hilda Boudwin; son-in-law, Wyatt Savoie.
