Judith "Judy" Herpin Vidallier

ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Judith "Judy" Ann Herpin Vidallier, 70, who died Monday, August 21, 2023, at Abbeville General Hospital after a brief illness. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon William Vincent officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Blake Clark, Slade Clark, Tony Mire, Dennis LeMaire, Jr., Kenneth St. Amant, and Eddie Langlinais. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray LeMaire, Brian Vidallier, Jacob Vidallier, and Adam Vidallier.
Judy was active in the community; she was a very kind and giving person. You could always find Judy with a smile on her face. She was a one-of-a-kind person; selfless and always offering herself to anyone in need.
Judy and her husband, Gerald are the owners of Subway Franchise for over 30 years located in Abbeville and Youngsville. She was a licensed cosmologist. She was a member of the Coastal Shrine Club Ladies Auxiliary aka Bayou Belles, a chevalier for the Giant Omelette Celebration with Confrerie d' Abbeville, and a member of the Kelvin’s Wednesday night dance group.  She enjoyed traveling, playing Bingo and shopping.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gerald C. Vidallier; son, Jeramery Brian Vidallier and his wife, Courtney; two grandsons, Jacob Charles Vidallier and Adam Joseph Vidallier; and sisters, Brenda Hanks and her husband Raymond, and Ramona Bourque and her husband, Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Yennis Herpin and the former Verna Leblanc; and brother, Johnny Lee Theall.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. A rosary being prayed at 1:30 p.m. A celebration of life will follow immediately after services at Kelvin’s Piano Bar, 109 South State Street, Abbeville.
