Richard Dale LeBlanc

KAPLAN — A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Richard Dale LeBlanc, 71, who died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Lafayette General Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at Cossinade Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.
He is survived by his companion, Linda Faulk of Kaplan; one son, Martin "Peewee" LeBlanc and his wife, Glenda of Abbeville; one brother, Donald A. LeBlanc and his wife, Clara of Abbeville; two sisters, Connie Leblanc of Abbeville and Sheila LeBlanc and her wife, Latrell of Abbeville; four granddaughters, Casey Choate, Jeannie Choate, Brooke Choate, and April Lognion; thirteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis "Black" LeBlanc and the former Alice Abshire.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
