ABBEVILLE — A private memorial service will be held on a later date for Jonathan “Spanky” James Trahan, 54, who passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at his residence in Abbeville.
ABBEVILLE — A Home-going celebration for Ms. Maggie Mae Mitchell 72, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with Rev. Willie Williams, Pastor Officiating.
She will await the resurrection in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Grosse Isle.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Friday at 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
In compliance with infection control and prevention measures, masks are required for all attendees at the church and cemetery.

Deacon Francis Cao of St. Mary Magdalen will Officiate the Service.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Cypress Funeral Home.
