Charles Bradley Mergist

ERATH — A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Charles Bradley Mergist, 78, will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. with Fr. Clinton Sensat officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 8 a.m. until time of services.

Duncan Eugene Boutwell

Duncan Eugene Boutwell, age 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 12, 2024, in Alexandria, Louisiana at Lexington House. He was born in Chicago on October 6, 1937, to his parents, Donald and Dorothy Boutwell, who preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lafayette, for Judith Faulk, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away on October 22, 2024 in Lafayette.
The family requests visitation be observed at Martin and Castille Funeral Home, 600 East Farrel Road, Lafayette, LA on Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary prayed at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday from 9 a.m. to time of services.
Reverend Joel Faulk will officiate the services.

ABBEVILLE — Funeral services for Mitchell Wayne Livings is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024 in the chapel of Kinchen Funeral Home – 218 N. St. Valarie Street with burial in St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Mitchell Livings (62) a resident of Kaplan, passed away in an automobile accident on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

Harry Lee Broussard

Harry Lee Broussard, better known as Paw, was born on December 10, 1929, in Kaplan, LA, the eldest of seven siblings. Known for his strong work ethic and honesty, Paw dedicated over 60 years to farming rice, soybeans, and crawfish, providing for his community. He was also very involved at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Kaplan, St. John the Baptist in Lyons Point and the Knights of Columbus.
