ABBEVILLE – Funeral services for Clarence "C.T." "Walkie Talkie" Vincent, 92, will be held Tuesday September 26, 2023, at 1 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Father Francois Sainte-Marie officiating.
Visitation will be held Tuesday September 26, 2023, from 9 a.m. until time of services with a Rosary recited at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in Youngsville.

Chris N. Trahan

Chris Neal Trahan was born May 19, 1968 in Kaplan and died September 10, 2023 at the age of 55. Chris, also known as ‘Snooch’, was a lifelong resident of Vermilion Parish. Chris was a kind and gentle soul, he was an avid deer and duck hunter, he enjoyed the outdoors and he also loved and treasured every moment he spent with family and friends.

ABBEVILLE — Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorothy Grogan, 93, will be held at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Wille Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Triumph Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.

Karl Jeter

BREAUX BRIDGE — A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Karl Jeter, 69, who passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Camelot of Broussard Nursing Home. 
Karl was born on August 14, 1954, in Houston, Texas. He was the second of two children of John Jeter and Ethel Stoops Jeter. After moving to Florida as a child, Karl found an early love of sailing on the Indian River Lagoon, going out daily.
Karl then obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a minor in English from Midwestern State University in Texas.
