Jimmy Carter afflicted with Russian Fever

At the Democratic Party presidential debates, several of the candidates mentioned Russia as our country’s greatest threat, citing their attempts to influence the result of the 2016 presidential election. This obsession with Russia has infected the entire Democratic Party, including their elder statesman, former President Jimmy Carter.
Ironically, when Carter served as the nation’s 39th President, Jimmy Carter was a disaster on both domestic issues and foreign policy. He left the economy in shambles and our military in disarray.

Too much political correctness in Louisiana

I don’t know about you, but I sure am confused about all this current debate over gender equity, gay rights, and transgenders. I keep reading in the newspaper about LGBT. I had to look up the lettering to even know what the abbreviation means. Being “politically correct” has become an obsession with much of the country as well as right here at home in Louisiana.

The Federal Reserve has been misleading us

There is new information out that lays out a damning case that the Federal Reserve (and other Central Bankers around the globe) don’t have a clue on how to measure inflation. Alan Greenspan, the former head of the Fed’s, admitted last month in an interview at Wharton that “we have a problem with measuring inflation - - there is a bias in the statistics. You’re getting statistics which are not correct.” The implications of this revelation is indeed stunning, because if you “get the inflation number wrong you’ve blindfolded every economist.”
