Vermilion Catholic students place crosses in front of St. Mary Magdalen

The Vermilion Catholic, a legacy of Mt. Carmel, Fiat class and a few of St. Mary Magdalen parishioners placed these white crosses in front of St. Mary Magdalen Church to represent the millions of children who have been victims of abortion for the last 52 years. They stand as a reminder to keep all those affected by this decision in our prayers. This year the annual March for Life in Washington DC took place on Friday, January 24, 2025.

This meaningful trip, led by retired principal Mike Guilbeaux and his wife, Anne, has been a cherished tradition for the past 14 years.
Highlighting the trip was a poignant moment at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where four distinguished seniors had the honor of laying a wreath.

As all flights out of Lafayette and Baton Rouge, ours has been postponed. Hopefully we will board our plane and arrive in D. C early tomorrow afternoon (Thursday). We are headed to the annual D. C.
