Martial Broussard named Erath High’s 2019 Homecoming Grand Marshal

Erath High is proud to announce that Martial Broussard has been named the 2019 Erath High Homecoming Grand Marshal. Martial Broussard without a doubt, is one of the most dedicated supporters of the Erath community and has been the past 50+ years. He was born as the second child to David and Tessie Broussard, on January 18, 1947, He was welcomed by his older sister Gayle Broussard (Duck). Later, another sister Katherine came along on July 22, 1952.

Erath man among three arrested for Internet Crimes Against Children

BATON ROUGE – Attorney General Jeff Landry’s Office has arrested three men on child exploitation charges.
“Child pornography is a dreadful crimes that repeatedly victimizes children,” said General Landry. “So My office and I will continue to do all we can to find and arrest those who possess, distribute, and produce these horrific sexual abuse images and videos.”

ERATH — Nathan Granger rose slowly out of his chair three rows from the stage and made his way to the podium Tuesday at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Religious Center.
Once there, he braced himself and finally unfolded his hand-scribbled notes.
The emotions of the moment were hard to fight back for Granger and also for those in the huge crowd of mourners who had come to pay their final respects to hometown hero and horse racing Hall of Fame jockey Randy Romero.
