ERATH — A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for William Joseph Darby, Sr. 76, at 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath, LA with Fr. Andre Metrejean, celebrant.
He will await the resurrection at Leblanc Cemetery in Erath, Louisiana.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:00 A.M. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Hall with a rosary to be recited at 11:30 A.M.
A native and resident of Erath, LA, he passed at 11:17 A.M. Monday, March 20, 2017 at his residence.

Lucille T. Picard

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice honoring the life of Lucille T. Picard, 104, who passed away at her home in Maurice surrounded by her loving family. Reverend O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor, will officiate. Gift bearers will be Jaime D. Guidry, Amanda F. Istre and Haley Mautrin.
Lector will be Krystle F. Meaux and Colin Faulk.
Mrs. Picard was a native of the Meaux/Leroy community and had been a resident of Maurice for over 80 years.

Walter Williams Jr.

A native and lifelong resident of Abbeville, Louisiana, Walter “Pupie” Williams Jr., passed away on March 13, 2017, at his residence.
His life would seem too short for many, but for those who were touched by him understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. As a result of his generous and pleasant personality, he was loved by many.
His life will forever be remembered and cherished by his family and friends.
