ABBEVILLE — Agnes Motty, 62 beloved sister and aunt died at Abbeville General Hospital on Tuesday May 9th, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 18th, 2017, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, in Abbeville. Interment will follow in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery.
A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at David Funeral Home 2600 Charity Street, in Abbeville. Visitation will continue from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM. A rosary will be prayed May 18th 9:30AM at David’s Funeral Home.

Marion Dronet Lassalle

ERATH – A Memorial Mass will be held for Ms. Marion Dronet Lassalle, age 84 at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 17,2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Andre Metrejean officiating the service.
Interment will follow at a later date.
A native of Erath and resident of New Iberia, Ms. Marion, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 14, 2017 at 10:18 PM. She was a loving wife to R.O. “Bobby” Lassalle for 51 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Linda Landry Sherman

Ms. Linda Landry Sherman passed away peacefully at home on May 9, 2017 at the age of 68. She was born August 9th, 1948, in Abbeville, LA and resided in Delcambre, LA.
She enjoyed spending her time talking on the phone with her brother, attending events & activities with her family and friends, and keeping in touch with lifelong friends made while living abroad in Singapore
Linda was also an avid volunteer dedicating her time and energy towards American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
